do your booking through? I'm a FL res, have AAA, but usually call Disney to book or stay off site & buy tickets when we get there..would like to know what you do....

Since I am a control freak......I don't use travel agents....I research, then call WDW myself.....that way, when I want to make changes *I* do them and know that they are done to my satisfaction. I guess it's just a matter of whether you have the time and desire to do it yourself.

I'm also a self proclaimed control freak.

BUT....

After hearing the problems people have had with CRO and the long waits it took on the phone to get the AP discount when it became available, I decided to let Dreams Unlimited do the work for me.

They know I have AAA and will purchase an AP, so when those rates become available they will grab them for me.

They will also do my PS's and special reservations for Cruises and such. I have a feeling they would be better at getting the premium times than I would.

I'm a FL resident and I always call myself. For tickets I always get the seasonal pass ($225) since I can go a few times a year its the most affordable way. FL rates are cheaper than AAA. I've never had a problem getting a room. The last time I stayed off-site was '96. That was also the first year I stayed on-site and I've never looked back.
