Who Do You Want to Outlive???

On my favorite radio show this morning, the hosts were talking about who they wanted to outlive. And I thought, "You know, I have a few people I want to outlive. Chief among them my ex-husband, so I can make sure the children don't have to deal with him without me around to run interference." (LOL!) And a few enemies from past workplaces - just for spite. (Also LOL!)

So who do you want to outlive?

I don't have anyone I really want to outlive. My biggest hope is that I live long enough so my girls grow up and are able to take care of themselves. I would hate to leave my girls motherless when they are so little and small.

I thought about asking the question that way, too, but then all of us would say what you said, and then we'd probably start to think about it, and then we'd spend the evening dwelling on it, and then we'd all go find our precious little children and give them hugs and jkisses, and then they'd say, "Mom! Chill out!!!"" or something equally obnoxious, and then we'd all lose that warm happy feeling and start to think, "Hmmm, maybe...just maybe..."

So that's why I didn't ask who you'd want to make sure you didn't die before!!!

No, this thread is just about griping...
