Who do you really miss, that you don't chat with anymore?

I had a good pal years ago, we lost touch, wish I could catch up with him today.

My mom She is in advanced stages of Parkinson's and can't talk anymore. She can barely whisper. We live far apart and it makes me so sad not to be able to talk with her on the phone anymore. We used to chat about life every single day!

My Mom - I can't believe that she died 6 months ago.

Of the living - my best friend from high school. We lost touch and I moved 11 years ago, so she might not be able to find me (although, she was my sister's roomate at one time, and sis is still in the same home.) Several years ago, I sent a Christmas card to her with a note to please forward, if needed, I never received it back, so I think she received it. Makes me kinda sad that we aren't in touch.

I miss my Daddy. He passed away 14 years ago, the same year that my Nanny passed away. She is another person that I miss soooo much. I was looking at some old pictures of us, at Disney World and I just teared up.

When I first got on the net in 2000, there were several online friends that I talked to. Late 2003 when I moved into my first apartment, I lost the internet. I only got on by the library, but usually not enough time to sit and chat around the way I used to. When I finally got the internet back in 2009, all the people I talked to were still on. And they remembered me.

They were more important to me than any real life "friends". Most of them, I don't particularly care to try and find anymore. I've had a few people run into my sister, and she's passed messages along to me. But I don't really care to "catch up on old time" cause truthfully they weren't that great of old time if we stopped talking back then.

I miss my college roommate. We got really close like sisters during those 4 years, but she got a job in Tokyo in the stock market field. We skype a lot, but I miss having her near. I can't think of anyone else I miss.

My husband.
He passed away 32 days ago. I miss him terribly every single day.

I miss my good friend from high school. She seemed to disappear from the earth. I have tried calling, writing, searching for her online, and I can't find her.

I miss my brother. We had a falling out over 10 years ago and it cannot be mended.

A dear friend, Janice, who passed away a few years ago from cancer. We had our boys 9 months apart & our girls 9 months apart. She had the oldest & youngest. Oh, the times we had before & after our kids. Let this be a lesson to everyone--if there's a friend you haven't seen or talked with for awhile & you know where they are, CONTACT them & have a good chat. I didn't call Janice very often because she worked hard & was tired at the end of the day. I knew if we talked, we'd be on the phone for hours & she needed sleep.

Then there's a coworker, Joanne E, who moved to NC a long time ago. She was at least 75 then & I haven't heard from her for awhile. I sent an email but didn't get a response. I'll send her a letter soon.
