Who do you know that's a Disney "Muggle"?

I must admit, that I did not create the term Disney "Muggle". I read it on the Micechat website.

I interpreted it as a person, who knows little or very little about the Disney Parks.

Do you have a friend or relative who could qualify as a Disney Muggle? Perhaps they have said or done something to make you chuckle. Do they not know that Epcot is a theme park?

Just wondering how many Disney Muggles there are out there? Do they out number the rest of us who really love the Disney Parks?

If they are muggles, what name should we coin for ourselves?

I guess I'm probably a Disney Muggle! I haven't been in years. I have never been with my kids - which I think is going to be a whole new world for me!

So I'm a muggle - which is why I come here - to learn things from all of you!!!!

I could be justifiably classed as a muggle. But only because I've never had the chance to go to WDW *yet*. Until this year I've researched it and dreamt about it for a long time!!!!

But if I'm a muggle then DH is the Dudley Dursley of Disney and I'll give you an example....

He's in college (mature student) and one of his classmates is a woman originally from Florida who spent her summers in Orlando and now lives here in Ireland. She said many months ago that if we needed any advice on WDW to feel free to ask. We've asked her weather-related questions and bits and pieces and she was great! So, with the itinerary almost complete now, I suggested a few days ago to DH that he run a few questions by her to see what she thinks. He has taken a back seat in the planning process but geez, I guess he's reached new heights in spousal-selective-hearing-itis!! He came home yesterday and said "I spoke to Ava about our plans but she wasn't too chatty. She didn't have a whole lot of advice and just said to write things down cause I was confusing her. I dunno what's wrong with her." So I said "oh she's usually so helpful, what exactly did you ask her?".....


Some of his answers....... "I asked her again how bad the heat would be in Disney Land in June." "I also ran our ticket decisions by her and asked if we were doing the right thing not including Blizzard Beach and Wet and Wild in our tickets." "She did say she liked the sound of New Orleans resort, she hadn't heard of that resort." [gee, I wonder why?!] "And she didn't say much about our choice of Fort Wilderness Lodge." "She said Sea World isn't run by Disney but she's wrong about that isn't she?" [] "Yeah, she must be wrong cause I remember you saying we're gonna eat at that Disney restaurant, Coral Reef [ he got a name right] and we'd watch the dolphins [hello??] so I know that restaurant must be in in Sea World."

Heeeellllp!!!!!! Anyone?? Take this man off my hands!!!!

So, yes, I'll freely admit to being a muggle but geez, compared to him I'm practically Walt's long lost daughter!

ROFL! Well, I am nearly a WDW muggle having been deprived all my life & only made my first trip for one day at MK 2 years ago. LOL! We have since been to MK one other day & are now planning our first WDW only vacation for this June & we will see MGM for the first time. I will admit that I didn't figure out OKW after our friends told us we would be staying there in December for a few months. However, I would be a DCL Dizard so I'm not totally unknowledgable about Disney.
