This is an outstanding family resort. Truly a five star. The very best location adjacent to Water Country USA. Exceptional service and outstanding accommodations. You should not hesitate to stay here. There are a lot of units which are really all within walking distance of a pool area.
There are not a lot of structured activities for kids, but if you are visiting the parks or spending the day by the pool, we didnt miss them. They did have a make your own ice cream sundae when we were there which was great fun for the kids. One day when it was rainy in the afternoon I called the office to ask about a CD player so the children could listen to music, and within a half hour a brand new CD player, in the box, was delivered to our room. The large-screen TV in the living area (2+bdrm units) was a real treat for everyone to watch.
This was one of the cleanest hotels/resorts I have ever stayed in. The staff does an excellent job maintaining the cleanliness of the units. The only item missing was a hairdryer (which is a surprise because they really had absolutely anything else you might need within the unit). The rocking chairs on the porch were a great touch and used frequently. Even the Adirondack chairs on the deck were a nice touch. Lots of little extras made this a great home away from home.
Best things about the resort
Close proximity to attractions and pool area. Excellent accommodations.

Timeshare experience
We were very pleased with our accommodations; our unit was a two-unit townhouse overlooking the clubhouse pool and woods. All the unit amenities were excellent. We liked the large-screen TV in the great room (would be great if a DVD player was attached).
Best things about the resort
Accommodations were excellent. Beautiful, spacious two-story cottage - two-bedroom unit and a one-bedroom lockout unit; sleeps 10 max. Gas grills were available - too cold for us to use. Large-screen TV and electric-start fireplace in the great room; all major rooms were equipped with dimmers for ambience. Small jacuzzi in lockout unit bathroom. Two and a half baths in two-bedroom; one bath in one-bedroom. Email access in the clubhouse.
