Who do you book with?

We looked at TCD this year (having always booked with Virgin). It was indeed chaper BUT it's no good if you don't want to hire a car. Their website won't let you proceed unless you state the vehicle you want to hire. I dodn't drive - I want a nice bus thanks!

You can book flight only with them, if you phone them....but the catch is you will pay more for your 'flight only' than the 'Flydrive minus the car element'..if that makes sense ..... they subsidise one element of the holidays they offer, by charging extra costs of another element...thereby their flight prices always look good..but they cannot be taken at that price, as an element on their own.

That said, when comparing Virgin prices, they may still be worth a look.

Ive been pricing up another trip in August and I was just wondering who everyone uses to book their holiday with?

We have always booked with Virgin but people seem to say on here loads that they have got fantastic deals by going with other people or booking each part of the holiday separate. I have priced up 15 nights staying at POR, flying with Virgin and 2 x 14 day ultimate passes and if booked direct it comes out as about £3200 (including our 10% FF discount). I have priced up with TCD, Thomas Cook, Thompson and BA and they all seem to be around the same price.

How do you all get your bargains??!! Please share the secret!!!

First time we went we booked through Thompsons & got charged extra supplements because we we're a family with children sharing a hotel room & not 4 adults sharing(as if!!), then twice since we've booked through TCD and no one can beat their prices to be honest as much as I searched the net....But this year I done it I've got flights with Virgin, a 4 Bedroomed Villa & Car Hire for 6 of us, My Parents, my Husband 2 Daughters & of course myself, and this will be the cheapest holiday for us as a family to the world of Magic We can't wait We'll be there in June
