David Cook FTW!

Archuleta just butchered "Sweet Caroline" and that just added to my dislike of him. I was really hoping that David Cook would get it first. That's my favorite Neil Diamond song.

Syesha isn't that good and definately not one of my favorites.

Brooke has annoyed me since day 1.

Jason Castro, I can put up with him. He's not that bad. I don't really like the dreads, though.

I missed David Hernandez. He was my top pick early on and I was upset when he got voted off.

After him I was rooting for Michael Johns, but now that he's gone, too, it's all David C for me.

David Cook all the way! I like David Archuletta, but I know that the main reason he's getting through so easily each week is because of all the teenage girls voting for him because he's cute. I don't want it to turn into a popularity contest. I want it to be for talent, and David Cook definitely has the talent. :]

I like Cook a lot more, BUT...
When you win American idol, they kinda..ruin your image, when you get 2nd place its much better. They still give you amazing record deals, but they dont bother you as much as first place saying "PREVIOUS AMERICAN IDOL WINNER!".

I mean look at Jordan Sparks.
I dont like her CD's that much...Blake?? I think hes doin alright!

Blake's CD has only sold I think 200,000 something copies. Jordin is doing much better in sales and radio airplay.

The truth is, 19 Entertainment (the label who signs the Idols) only has the $$$ to properly promote ONE album, and that's the winner's album.

Yes, but in the long-run the second place finishers tend to do better. Or even further than second place. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are the only two real exceptions to that. Clay Aiken did way better (and is still doing better) than Ruben. Blake Lewis seems to be more popular than Jordin (I've heard so many people say they hate her songs- and I agree with them). Chris Dautry is a mega-hit, but Taylor Hicks did really awful in record sales.

And Jordin has sold a little under double of what Blake has. He's sold 324,650 copies to her 677,900.

Yes, IF DC wins we will know it was based on talent this season! I hope he does win though.

I can believe Brooke was off, she was not a favorite of mine. She seemed genuine though and I agree, things were getting to her.

I think Brooke was genuine. But yes, I agree she had to always get the last word in. She wouldn't shut up! I found her very corny.
