Who collects Artist Choice pins?

I know a lot of us did at the begining but I was wondering who still does. I have not gotten any of the new ones since the Parti Gra event in AK. This was one of my main collections and I truly loved collecting them but got over whelmed with the amount that was being released. I liked the fact that the edition sizes was lower but it is hard to get 4,5 or 6 from each event if you do not attend. So it got me to thinking about do I want to go forward with this series or just go after certain Artists like Randy Noble or Michelle Morrow.

What do all you that collect this series think about this?

Also a few of the last ones have been pretty poor. And what ever happened to filling in the pencil and paint brush?

We used to love the artist choice series from the
parks, but now there are only a few here and
there that we would really really want.

We do love the Disney Cruise Line artist choice
pins.

But we are looking forward to the Sept event
to see the quality of the new artist choice pins
that are coming out.

most of them are really nice, yes you are right about the design change with the pencil`s fill, but after all it is the artist's choice ???
I had no problem getting 5 of the 7 new pins from last week friends at the event were able to get them by RSP on saturday ( thanks Jim ) , but the chip and dale one i had to purchase from ebay and the pooh was traded earlier this week..
So i am still up to date with California, Cruise and WDW and plan to continue collecting them... 20-30 pins a year do not sound too bad compared to all the tink and princess releases so far )

I collect WDW ones and the pin event ones but not the DCL ones and such.

I was collecting the one's from WDWbut stopped when I saw the ones fro last Sept.'s Pin Celebration. None of them really did anything for me and I could not see continuing this series. I have kept the ones I liked and traded away the others. I now buy only the ones that strike me.

I'm still trying to collect them. I think I'm still missing some from the event before the ToonTown event, and now there are all of those. Wondering why there are so many, when they don't seem to be that popular. I've been able to get most of them off the racks, some time after the events when we finally get to WDW. I do love DCL's AC pins, but certainly don't have them all. Diana
