Hi everyone,
We have made a PS for Marrakesh prior to the Candlelight Processional -- DH is into all things Moroccan. However, we will also have my parents and our two kids (8 and 5) with us. Will there be something for everyone? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!:D

If your DH is into 'all things' Moroccan, you can tell him about my colleague at work. He's just come back from a week in Agadir and he spent most of the week on the toilet :)

He's been back 4 days and can only just FWC (fart with confidence :) )

Thanks Tim, but that's not exactly the response I was looking for. I'm sure this restaurant won't cause that kind of result.
Hope someone else can help!

Check out the menus at www.wdwig.com

I think you will find somethng for everyone.

We usually end up eating twice here. Usually once with PS. Then a second time when we don't have PS but can't face fast food. The restuarant is usually pretty easy to get into.

Goofyish you made my day , LOL! Never heard of FWC....is that a brit thing?

Marrakesh is a must-do restaurant for me every visit to WDW. I believe that even unadventurous eaters can find something they like at the restaurant. Included on the menu are chicken and beef kebabs which are not spicy at all...just grilled pieces of meat. Couscous is actually just small beads of pasta - plain on its own, but delicious when served with steamed vegetables (and some broth to make it moist and tender). One of my favorite things on the menu are the beef brewat rolls. They are delicious...ground beef with mild spices wraped in pastry that is deep fried and sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar. They are so good it could pass for dessert. The restaurant also offers sampler platters so you can try a bit of everything. The atmosphere is beautiful...wonderful tilework...and there is the added entertainment factor with Moroccan musicians and bellydancers. Have fun!

I highly recommend this resturant. I have gone with an 8 year old and she found food. We were a group of 9 and we all found something we liked. Great atomsphere!

I completely agree with kimble. My family fell in love with Restaurant years ago. At the time my children were 8 and 13; they both enjoyed the food. They are now 22 and 27 and still enjoy Morroccan food. The restaurant is beautiful, looking at the tilework is a treat all by itself. Craftsmen from Morrocco were actually brought over to do the tilework and if I remember correctly all the tiles were actually shipped over also.
Enjoy!

Thanks so much for the responses!!! I really appreciate it.

I also found Goofyish's comment amusing, but I was asking about FOOD, after all!!

We love Restaurant Marrakesh. The food is great and pretty authentic. Of course, we are pretty biased becasue we really love Morocan food, architecture, and culture.

By the way, we spent part of our honeymoon in Morocco (Marrakesh, Fez, and Casablanca) and we had an absolutely incredible time! It was the most colorful, exotic, and exciting place we have ever been - and one of the friendliest. We didn't have any of the problems mentioned earlier. ;)
