I book our trips by calling Disney myself, but people tell me that I should be a Disney travel agent (even at our last DIS board meet!). I would if there was enough money in it!

What can I say? I love making touring plans, and I love planning dining reservations! A little luck, good timing and stellar Disney discounts can go a long way too! :thumbsup2

Controversial tips, anyone? Well, *whispering* consider getting a Disney Visa, a AAA membership, and *even lower whisper* if the funds are available, buy annual passes and the Tables in Wonderland Card, or buy some DVC points...

Most of these cardholders/members seem to obtain some of the very best discounts that Disney offers.

I make all of our travel plans myself. I read tips here on Dis and scour the internet to find good deals on airfare. We used AAA for our first trip and their price was exactly the same that Disney had quoted me over the phone. Back then, codes and deals weren't available on the internet so we paid full price :scared1: 11 years later, we spend 1/2 of what that first trip cost us by booking everything ourselves and finding great codes and deals online.

I used Dreams Unlimited for the first time for our Christmas trip coming up and I have been very pleased with them. I will use them again.
