Who and how to contact about magic bands for upcoming trip?

No read the whole thread she is confused because she only received the first set and didn’t realize that the second set would be mailed separately... essentially she got the first set and thought disney messed up and didn’t send the second set not realizing she just needed to wait for a second shipment :) she is not trying to get a third set just the 2 that is part of her split stay...

From this post I take this to mean that the OP has customized the bands for her 2nd half of her split stay (cooper creek). Then she got in ONLY one set up bands - those from BC, and got confused thinking that for some reason the set she did take the time to customize is not going to come... Regardless, this is what I'm taking it to mean and if this is the case the OP will be getting the second set of bands shortly and they will be customized properly. I believe the confusion comes because it seems that these are sent out in two separate shipments (so she gets the shipment for the first stay and doesn't see the other bands she is expecting and gets concerned and posts here)...

OP here, this is correct all the way up until just waiting for a second shipment. There were none pending for the original Copper Creek reservation even though I had customized them long before I booked BC. Somehow the system deleted the CC magic bands. I did an online chat with a Disney rep and he was confused as well, thinking I would be getting the second set. He
had to go in and reset my CC reservation so my bands could be customized and sent. Never expected 3 sets, only the 2 we should have gotten with a split stay.

That makes more sense. Originally I thought the bulk of the issue was "I got MB colors we don't want because I chose random colors and now I want a 3rd set."

I'm glad it worked out in the end.
 
This is not cataclysmic. You ordered something. You got it. This is not Disney's to fix. You have several options of how to move forward, but to think that Disney will solve a mis-judgement on your part is not reasonable.
I never said it was cataclysmic, dont know where thats coming from. I just expected two sets of bands for two different stays which is the way it should have been done.

All because another poster got it wrong and others responded to that. No problem though but I am wondering if this is the new policy with split stays....one set of bands.

I have a split stay in May. I just went in to check some things and you may be right, or it may be yet another MDE glitch.
We stay at Pop starting 5/8 and SSR starting 5/11. In MDE on my Pop reservation when I click on "choose your magic bands" the next screen gives my SSR confirmation number and dates (so, my second half of the split stay). Then, an error message comes up that there is a problem with my request and I can't do anything from there.

When I scroll down to the plans for the day where I check in at SSR, "choose your magic bands" does not appear.

I'm fine with one set (or none, even) but it's interesting that a few days ago I know I had the option for both resort confirmations.
 
I dont think it's a glitch, I suspect Disney is sending out one set.
Glitch, they fixed it for me.
I'm probably not ordering any at all but I was curious (and concerned that something else has gone wrong with my reservation- that's an ordeal for another post).

Now, whether or not they are ultimately trying to move to only sending one set and hoping no one will ask, I don't know.
