I just registered to run the 5k during ESPN weekend! It will be my first 5k! I'm so excited, but also a bit nervous. I just wanted to know who else will be there??
I guess we're the only 2 participating!! Thanks, I guess I'm just not sure what to expect Things like where do I go when I get there?, where does my family go to cheer me on? But I'm sure everything will be well marked and there will be no doubt when I arrive. Good luck to you!

Count on 2 more for the 5K. Have you checked out the rundisney.com site about this race? http://espnwwos.disney.go.com/events/rundisney/espn-5k/
You might find some answers on the site.
I am looking forward to the run my DD's bf and I are running it and then we have to get cleaned up, check out and drive back to Michigan that day. It should be a nice ending to a 8 day vacation.
Thanks for posting the website airman! It was very helpful I've been doing the C25K program and will be starting week 6 tomorrow I've read on these threads that as long as you're making a good effort to finish, they usually don't sweep you. That's my biggest fear! I really want that finishers medal Good luck to you all!
I'm trying to talk DW into this. I did the half Earlier this month and we have APs that expire in May. Hoping to get one more trip in and this would be perfect.

Good luck convincing your wife When I asked my DH he laughed. That's ok because I need some cheerleaders So he and my 2 DD's will be there when I cross the finish line. I'm hoping my oldest will do it with me next time.
I am not doing this one but my son and I are doing the Everest Challenge in May. My first race ever. I am SO nervous! disneymom77 - I read that you have to keep a certain pace or they remove you - that is also my absolutely FEAR!!! It says the pace is 16 min/mile. I am in week 4 of C25K and even now and averaging well below 16, but an still really nervous about it! HA!
DH and I are doing it too! We thought this would be a good way to burn a few extra calories, since we leave later that day on a DCL Western Caribbean cruise!

What a great idea! We'll be at Disney for a week after the race, so does that mean I can eat without any guilt?? Who am I kidding? I use every vacation to eat without guilt!

I'm running it too, and really looking forward to it! We just had the "Blizzard of 2011" go through last night here in Michigan, so the thought that I'll be in Florida in less than a month is helping me tolerate all this snow...

DH and I are staying at BCV and are trying to decide if we want to walk to DHS that morning...probably a mile to the parking lot where the start is at...or take a taxi.
