I know the bridesmaids, flowergirls and groomsmen. I have heard many people giving their parents gifts as well, but let's be honest if we had the money to buy them presents, they wouldn't have to pay for the wedding. :teeth: No really, I was thinking of giving each of our parents an engraved picture frame with a wedding picture in it, but we obviously won't get the pictures back until weeks after the wedding. Would this still be okay?

Is there anyone else that needs a gift? Also, any suggestions for Flower Girl and Groomsmen gifts would be great! The bridesmaids are getting medium L.L. Bean tote bags with a Bath and Body Works lotion, shower gel and candle, small manicure kits and pajamas.

BTW We are not getting married at Disney, just honeymooning there! :bride: Thanks!

I think you have everyone about covered. I really like the idea of the frame for the parents. You should give the frame at the RD and obviously the pics after. Also writting a nice speach/ poem/ reading for your parents at the RD would be really sweet. If you have any readers I would suggest maybe a little something for them.

We also did the people singing during the ceremony (friends performing songs we chose) and junior attendants, which you may not have. But otherwise, that's it.

DD (melmel) was married just before Christmas. So everyone got the same Christmas gift: a nice 8x10 picture frame. Since the pictures weren't back yet, she put a hand drawn stick figure of a bride & groom with an IOU until the real pictures were available. Everyone thought it was a cute idea. Of course, the stick figure drawing is now in the wedding scrap book I'm making for them.

we gave a gift to our wedding party (maid of honor, usher, readers) & to our parents. we both felt it was important to give a gift to our parents for their financial help with the wedding but more as a way to say thank you for their support & love throughout our lives. i think youve got the right idea soccerprincess & your gifts sound nice.

The picture frame is a great idea. You could also handwrite a thank-you note to each specific person and "frame" it as their gift. Then when the pictures are available they could put the picture over the thank-you note.
