TMZ is reporting that her cousin Dionne Warwick spoke by phone with her a few hours before her death and said there were no signs of trouble.

They are also reporting that her mother Cissy spoke by phone with Whitney about 30 minutes before she died and she also said nothing seemed unusual.

From all the movies I've seen, they usually do drugs in the bathroom, if it's not a party they can openly do it at. Or maybe, she was feeling sick & went into the bathroom. She probably collapsed in there and fell in the tub.

I am shocked, she was too young. Addiction is real and I hope someone can save her daughter from going down the same path.........I also heard she or someone may have slit her wrist , details are still emerging. I saw a picture of her from this past Thursday and she looks high/drugged . May she rest in peace. What incredible talent she had

The spokesman for the police department also said there was "nothing obvious" so I would think that meant no blood or injuries and no drug paraphernalia lying around... of course her body guard and brother could have gotten rid of that....

She wasn't at a party, she was in her own hotel room that she was staying in while she was in town for the pre-grammy party.

Another report I just read said that as of 6:10pm PST her body was still in the hotel room, that's more than 2 hours after she died.

I read on people.com that hotel security called for paramedics at 3:43 PST and she was pronounced dead at 3:55pm, it doesn't seem like they "worked" on her for too long at all.

From what I heard on Fox it was all straight CPR. And that's long enough to know whether the patient has a shot of coming back or not.

Its a shame she's gone though. Haven't heard anything about her in quite awhile. I imagine when the autopsy is done that her drug use will have played a role in it even if she's been sober for awhile. But that's speculation.

Her daughter is what? 19-20 now?
