White Sox Trophy Tour! COOL! Pics Incl'd!!!

This weekend the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WHITE SOX!!!!!! had a Trophy Tour stop in our town.

They brought the Trophy AND a ring for pics!

So - Sox fans enjoy! And Cubs fans? You should check it out too, since it's the closet you'll ever get to a trophy!!! HA!

I'm the only White Sox fan in a family of Cub fans. It's so bad that I have to be kind of a closet Sox fan around them. So if any of them found out I went to see it...

Those are GREAT! We just went to the Astro's game on the 23rd (my DD3's second grand slam-right after I said-Mommy doesn't this Pods will hit it out baby)

She kept standing up and yelling-Go white sox! And everyone kept rubbing her head!

I saw the trophy (no ring though) during the 2004 Red Sox tour. It was a fun experience, but the trophy itself was a bit underwhelming. There was a 20-30 minute line at the local library.

Cool pictures! We've seen the trophy too but they didn't have the ring...I'll have to catch that next time...Or i guess i could wait til they come around with the Chicago White Sox World Series Ring for 06....

We had the trophy tour, where I live, too. the next day after, July 2nd. I didin't go, tho. I was afraid it would be too crowded and probably locked up in a glass cabinet . Would be too many people there. It was held on July 2nd, even tho most of everyone where I live are Cubs fans.
Were there alot of people where you went, on July 1? I don't see anyone else in the background of your pictures.

I was kinda upset by the LACK of people, actually.

We were 2nd in line - behind friends of the Mayor, whom seemed to think from their talk - they'd be getting in "before everyone else" The doors opened for everyone at the same time! HA!

But the line behind us was that long AND when we left - there was'nt anyone out the door anymore.

I dunno - maybe 40 people. Maybe? I dont know how it was all day - but at opening....not many.
