I used to hate brown rice but have recently added it to my diet now, mainly for health reasons. I do tend to eat more white though.

I prefer brown rice and darker rice in general. I love long grain and wild rice, too.

I like white rice and rice pilaf. Tried adding brown rice for the health bennies when i first got married. Couldn't train myself to eat it. Just couldn't do it. So after the first box was done that was it. Sometimes I cook my rice with chicken broth instead of water, that's a little more healthful and tastes great. Gotta remember to buy more broth though. I've been out for a little bit.

i don't really have a preference. i really like rice a lot, so i'll eat it both ways. the only rice in my cabinets is the flavored rice-o-roni kind.

I'm usually low-carbing, but would always choose brown over white.

I love brown rice. It just seems heartier and more flavorful.

Especially at PF Chang's under a heaping pile of Chinese food. :lmao:

I prefer Jasmine Rice, the kind used to make sushi. My kids call it sticky rice-it is sticky, but tastes better than regular white rice. I'm not a fan of brown rice alone, but mixed in a pilaf with white and wild rice (not actually a rice but an aquatic grass seed) I do like it.

What about adding broth makes it more healthful? Not snarky, honestly curious. Chicken broth doesn't have a whole lot of nutrition, if I recall.

I am a brown rice eater. I have several varieties of brown rice in the freezer - jasmine, basmati, sticky, and medium grain.

I prefer white rice, but I try to eat brown because I know it's healthier. Sometimes I combine the 2 (adding the white about half way through the cooking time for the brown)

I like dark shrimp fried rice with chinese...

I love white rice with mongolian beef..

and japanese hibachi rice is my fave

That's all I got to say about that :goodvibes

Brown rice, but really I don't eat much rice. If you ask me, it's too many carbs per serving and not enough fiber.

Brown rice only. Have been trying to stay away from white carbs. (bread, potato, pasta) whole grain or whole wheat only.

I have never been a huge rice fan, but for the last several years IF I was going to ingest rice, it has been of the brown variety. I like the texture better.

You know, I don't know if I've ever had brown rice. :confused3 I eat alot of white rice though.
I also looove Japanese hibachi rice.

White! I can't stand brown rice at all, maybe it was a bad batch, but I can't stand eating it. I can eat white rice all day long, with just a touch of soy sauce or kimchi

Brown rice is a fundamental part of our vegetarian diet. It has a lot more flavor than white, too.
