White light on our Tivo box?

We have a semi-old Tivo box (I think it says edition #2 on it) & it works fine, but we noticed a white light in the center on the past few days. Never noticed it before, and we could both swear it wasn't on before Like I said, it seems to be working just fine.

Does your Tivo box have a white light on in the front center?

Are you talking about the center seeming to be lit by a white lit? If so, yes that's normal. You probably had it off, and somehow accidentally switched it on. If you go under the menu and click on settings, I think you can turn it off. We did that with the Tivo in our bedroom because it was too bright at night for me to sleep!

Yes, that's exactly the light I'm talking about! Thank you so much! I guess I'll fiddle with it in the morning.

If it is a Humax TiVo S2, I believe the center light was blue, but perhaps the colored filter over the led came unstuck, and so now the previously-subtle blue light is a more noticeable white light.
