I have always liked Wayside Gardens especially for roses (much better than Jackson & Perkins I think). However they have all this stuff listed as growing in my new region (zone 9) which my friends at the garden site say will NOT grow here. Yesterday I received the White Flower Farm catalog which negates the Wayside stance on a lot of things and lists these plants as growing only to zone 8, not 9 as Wayside says.
It's an interesting comparison and I will go with the more conservative White Flower Farm. However, they are soooo expensive I think I will be starting a lot of seeds this year. Spring is just around the corner.
