OK, we are watching the Travel Channel and they are showing Disneyland Paris. We won't be going to Paris (unless I win the lottery or something), so I was wondering......

In Disneyland Paris they make a White Chocolate "Glass" Slipper filled with a chocolate cream of some sort. It is SO cute and looks yummy!

Is there anywhere at WDW or DL that you can get something like this?

Thanks,
DJ

I don't know if it is offered at any restaurants... however it is on the list of dessert options for weddings, so it appears on the catering menus. Maybe if you could contact Disney and order one in advance? I believe it is a white chocolate slipper with dark chocolate mousse filling. It would be really neat for a special occassion.

Thanks! I might check on that next time we are at WDW. It should be be nice if they just 'offered' it on the menus though. Oh well!

Thanks again!

Hi.
We had this white chocolate dessert at our vow renewal reception at the Grand Floridian. I have heard of people ordering them to be served at tea at the GF. I wonder if the chef would make one to be delivered to a room? I would love to order these on our December 2004 trip.
They were delicious. Our guests kept taking pictures of them. The castle is silk-screened in chocolate on the plate. Yummy.
Here's a link to the photo:

From that picture, all I can say is....OMG!
Thanks for posting.

Beautiful! Almost makes me want to marry him all over again. Almost.... lol.

I am so thankful for this post. I am taking my Mom to DW for her birthday and we are having Tea at GF. It couldn't get much better if I could arrange a White Choc. Slipper for her their. THanks for the insight.

If you do call to arrange this, maybe you could give us a 'report'. I am curious as to how much it would cost.

We plan to have dinner at the GF for the Cinderella Dinner next year when we are at WDW for my twin DD's birthday. I wonder if I could arrange this to be brought out to them at the end of dinner for their birthday.

I suppose it is worth a try! What fun! I want one too!!!!

I called GF to arrange 407-824-3000. They put me through to the manager, who answered 1900 Park Fare. The Glass Slipper dessert is $8.00. It has to be ordered in advance. I went ahead and made the order. I would have never know if it weren't for your post. Thanks and Hope this helps you and your little ones.

Thanks so much!!!! I am going to do this as a birthday surprise next year when we are at the GF for dinner. This will be such a neat surprise!

Is it only available @GF?

I would love to do this for DW for our anniversary on upcomming trip!

Thanks for the picture. I'm going to DLP for X-mas this year, and I hope to have the slipper as dessert folowing my x-mas dinner....Now that I've seen the picture, I really can't wait::yes::  :sunny: :hyper:

If you can order it in advance at GF I would expect you could order it in advance at other sit down places too, although I haven't tried. It was on every catering menu, back in the days when each venue did its own wedding catering. If GF is the only place, maybe they can do the slipper and send it somewhere, and that place can fill it?

My sister and I will be going to WDW 11/29 and I saw this slipper and thought that would be a nice 1st. day surprise:sunny: I contacted my DU agent and with concierge's (YC) help we will have them delivered to our room our first night :hyper:. This is DSIS first trip to WDW and I plan on having her addicted to the magic before we leave. Susan

I called back just to check and see if the Chocolate Mousse that is in the picture comes with the White Chocolate Glass Slipper dessert. (Something he said when I placed the order made me think) The lady checked and said it actually comes with vanilla custard but would request Chocolate Mousse. Just FYI for anyone interrested.

I ordered a couple as a surprise for DD and DH. I contacted the GF and they put me in to the bakery to make my request. The woman I spoke to was very helpful. She said that I could have it delivered to any of the eateries at the hotel, even Gasperella's. I opted for that one as it was easiest for me to plan. When I suggested taking them to go she said it wouldn't be nearly as beautiful, that you should have them served on the plate. DD is doing Adventures in Cooking first, then she'll get her surprise. :D
