we had this desert at my wedding and it was such a big hit.
can they have it delivered to any of the Magic Kingdom restaurants?

If anyone is calling the GF to order this, give them plenty of notice. I called a week and a half ahead, left message and then left for vacation. Had tea at the GF which we enjoyed very much, but that was where we wanted this served. When I returned, there was a message for me from the GF returning my call. TOO LATE! Oh well I'll have to try it on our next trip!! It looks so terribly cute!

*Update*

I just wanted to say that we called the GF and made arrangements to have this dessert served to us and my DB and SIL after our dinner at Citrico's.

They were absolutely speechless, and kept ooohing and ahhing over it. In fact, my DB thought that the castle was the design on the china plate until he accidently dragged his fork across it and it smeared!!!

This dessert was SOOOO worth the arrangements that we had to make to get it!!!!!!!

Where will you be staying? If at the GF you probably could, but if elswhere, I would guess not. My mother tried to get it delivered to me at my birthday dinner at the Kona Cafe, she even ended up on the phone with the Chef at one point. He told her that they do not allow the slippers to leave the GF due to the fact that the filling can go bad and they dont want to take the chance by having it out of their control. She even suggested having it send right to the Kona Cafe for them to take care of but they wouldnt chance it.

I called 407-WDISNEY and spoke to a nice CM who told me to call 407-824-2351. That is the Garden View Lounge and speak to a manager. I left a message so I will post when I hear further.

When we ordered ours, we spoke with someone in the kitchen at 1900 Park Faire.

I got two of these back in December - I doubt they are off the menu. I went to GF and had them at Gasparella's (sp?) They don't offer it on the regular menu at their restaurants but I special ordered it and they were extremely accommodating! Try calling the bakery at GF. Good luck

We had ours on January 2nd for my dd's birthday. We called 1900 Park Fare and had to leave a message. They called back within 2 hours. The cm was great. The slippers were wonderful and tasted great. The kids were more impressed with the chocolate silk screening of the castle.

They most definitely ahve them--DH ordered them a few days ago for our Grand One cruise next Monday. Private Dining will tell you they don't know what youa re talking about--be persistant and tell them to call teh bakery. The bakery calls them "Cindy's Plate".

They must be ordered in advance.

Thanks everyone. I just received a call from Reggie at the Garden View Lounge and he has placed an order for the Glass Slipper for us to have at the afternoon tea. He even told me that this was their "best kept secret" and it was a steal for what they charge lol. I did tell him about the snooty CM at the main GF # who told me they no longer made this. He said he would check into it.

Just thought I would share an update. I called 1900 Park Faire at (407) 824–2978 2 days ago. I had to leave a message on answering machine about getting the dessert when we eat dinner there.

He called me back tonight and I was able to order 4 white chocolate slipper dessert for May 15 when I will be having dinner there. They are $8 each. He said there was no need to confirm just to call if I need to cancel. I did not pay upfront will pay when I pay for dinner.

So you can still get it!!
