How is the best and easiest way to get 4 cases of White Castle burgers to my brother in Vegas? I guess they do not have them in Vegas? My wife and I are flying to see him can we take them on the plane (not as carry on) but in the luggage bay or will it be cheaper to have them shipped? If I ship them casn I use dry ice or is that allowed?

He should be able to buy them in his frozen food section of the local grocery store. They taste almost as good as fresh from the restaurant. Probably equally as good as ones that are leftover, and have traveled on a plane.

i've never really cared for white castle. soggy buns are yuck

In NY they use to offer shipping right from the store. You could ship a case I think.

Plantlady is correct though, they are now in your groceries freezers.

I personally don't think that the frozen variety at the grocery taste good. I love White Castle, but they don't taste the same reheated. I would call a local White Castle or call 1-800-THE-CRAVE and ask them about shipping. I found reheating instructions here:

The broiler pan method sounds the best and it says to order the pickles on the side. There are also instructions on how to freeze them which might be your best bet.

Out there addition to the discussion- my 17 year old son and 8 of his friends polished off 130 of them yesterday.

They are called "belly bombers" for a reason! LOL

we always had to bring them to CT from Long Island when we had relatives there...made for a stinky ride!

If they want them to taste more like fresh steamed from the restaurant, it is best to microwave them in the box....but only for a very short amount of time. From the refrig, its about 15 seconds.

We have a white castle right down the block from us, so we never had them frozen before...but the kiddos do reheat the leftovers.

You can carry on solid food. Just no liquids.
