Whispering Canyon

I am looking for information on Whispering Canyon. It looks like family fun. We are DW, DS (9) and DDS (twins 6 ) and me. How long does it take to get there from Magic Kingdom. We are thinking of dinner and then back to the park for Wishes. Thanks.

We are going to be dining here as well on our trip. If you walk out of the front entrance of MK, walk over to the boat launch, then take the boat over to Wilderness Lodge, then back when you are finished. I'd guess, ( we've never done it before) but, I'd guess it's no more than a half hour each way... then I've allowed an hour for dinner........... so, I'd say at least 2 hours, however to be on the safe side, I've allowed 2 1/2. I think someone who has actually done this would have a better idea, but that is my best guess.

This is a GREAT place! We all had a great time. It is not for those wanting a quiet dinner with the kids, be ready for noise and fun.

I think we spent a good hour or so. The trip back to MK is a boat and is fairly quick.. About 15 minutes or so..

Don't forget to ask for ketchup!

Boat does take abouy 30 min. You can also take the WL resort bus from the MK and it takes about 10 min - lots quicker but not as much fun. If you have the time I would ride the boat. You'll love WC its lots of fun - its also a great lunch option or you could do an early dinner and be away from the park when its really crowded.

Thanks for the information. We are trying out WCC for the first time next Thursday from MK and I was wondering what would be the quickest way there.

Well after I read thru all the discussion threads on
WCC, I definitely booked a dinner for my DW, DD(14) and
DD(16) as the opening night dinner..

Here is a thread with a lot of good info on WCC, I hope
this works. If it does not, go to page-5 of this board
and look for Whispering Canyone Cafe or seach for
the restaurant..

WCC is great!! One of my favorite places. You may want to allow a little time to look around the resort. WL is beautiful!
