Whispering Canyon?

We have ADR's to eat a late lunch there before MNSSHP on 10/27. It sounded like fun for me, DH, DS15 and DS13. However, I keep seeing horrible reviews and I'm worried about it. What does everyone think? BTW, we are used to loud dining and love to have fun!

Hi - We are just back from MNSSHP and 9 days. We somehow managed to get into WCC on Saturday as walk ins. This was our 3rd or 4th visit. Service is likely a tad worse, food is essentially the same, and if you and your kids are in the mood for the shenanigans - try it out and go on to the HP.
The lunch menu is much better-priced than the dinner menu - same items - higher prices at dinner - I know this because they gave us the lunch menus at dinner , told us we could order from them, then said no. The skillet is on there, tho, ditto burgers. For $14.99 as a lunch menu item, I'd say with teens, it's a deal. Ask first, tho, whether it is considered or dinner. Some of the WDW restaurants, I noticed, are making what I consider to be extremely early ADR's and calling it "dinner"!! 3:45 PM?? NOT!!!!!

PLUS!!! You get to be at WL - the most fabulously themed resort, IMHO!!!

Enjoy! Forget the reviews - it's an experience - - and not anywhere as disappointing, say, as Sci-Fi in MGM...

We ate there in August and had a great time. Take a look at the menu and if you like what you see, try it out! We had a wonderful server who was lots of fun and the food was about what we expected.

Our waitress was positively horrible, but the food was good and it was fun watching the kids ride around the restaurant on their "horses." Just don't ask for ketchup!
