Hi:
Does anyone know if you need advance reservations for Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge? Thanks

I'd recommend making a PS (Priority Seating) for WCC. Breakfast and dinner can get fairly packed. The last time my DW and I were there, we saw several families waiting for tables -- thankfully, we had a PS and walked right in and were seated.

Agreeing with Eeyore54:D We're always so tired and hungry when we get to the restaurant it would be too much to have to wait very long to be seated.

If there's a hard way to learn a lesson, I'm sure to stumble upon it. So let me share with you my "wisdom" on this topic:

During my last stay at the WL, my fav resort by the way, I decided to stop and grab a quick bite to eat at WC before heading back to my room to change for a dip in the pool.

Well, seems a lot of guests at the WL get the same idea, and they all descend upon the restaurant without a priority seating arrangement. Breakfast is the same way... folks wwander down from their rooms, hungry and looking for a good meal. So whether you're staying at the hotel or coming from someplace else, I'd totally recommend make a PS if at all possible!

I think my DH would like to eat here. Anyone suggest lunch over dinner or vice versa?

We did the same...stayed at WL...didn't make breakfast priority seatings...along with most everyone else staying there.

Make ps's if you really want to eat somewhere. Saves you a lot of time and headaches!
