How good is the whispering canyon? Is it loud?

It depends on what servers are working and how much of the antics are going on. We were there in September and it was very quiet and hardly anything went on (we saw some straws being thrown; no ketchup, no pony races, etc.). Personally, we did not care for the food at all (if we were to ever go back we would not order the skillet).

Yes, we think it is good. Yes, it is very loud. The skillet gives you a little bit of everything and is very large, or you can order off the menu. A great place for families, kids love it. They will have stick horse races around the restaurant, if you yell out from your table that you need ketchup people from other tables will bring you theirs. We ended up with about 15 bottles. I think there are better places to eat, but it is some place everyone needs to try at least once.

The skillet is good enough for the feeding of mass quantities.

Antics usually make it loud. Sometimes it is quiet, but overall, we find it to be loud at most meals, except breakfast.
