When we go, it is just going to be myself and my DS6, would Whispering Canyon be a wise choice?

DH and I did not care for it at all--found it overrated and saw little of the antics that everyone talks about (service was also terrible--we were there for two hours). However, a lot of people love it. I would think it would depend on where you are staying and if you want to take the time traveling to the WL. DH and I always have a car so it is easy for us to get to a different resort for a meal.

This is one of my DS - 8 favorites. It is better if you get the right waiter/waitress - and to be honest we have never had one that has been that great, but my kids enjoy watching the others.

If you are not staying at Wilderness Lodge, plan on doing this on a day you go to MK. The boat ride from MK to WL is very relaxing. We usually use this for a mid-afternoon break.
