How long does it take to eat here? We have a 5:30 reservation on October 12th and were hoping to still make it to the campfire singalong and movie. Am I wishful thinking?

I always figure about 2 hours after my scheduled ADR, I will be leaving the restaurant. I am very rarely leave earlier than that time, and occasionally leave a little later.

I have heard that if you tell your server you're in a hurry that they can expedite it, but I am not sure you'd want to do that and risk missing out on the performance of WCC.

It will depend on how long you have to wait to be seated from the time of your ADR. We had a 5:40 on a Monday night a couple of weeks ago and we didn't get seated until almost 6:15. We were out of there in an hour...but we didn't have dessert--DH got sick on his dinner.

Was the food bad, or he just wasn't feeling well? I was really wanting to try this place.

I'd really like to know, too! I was planning on 2 hours to include time to be seated and eating time. Do they rush you there at all? We'd really like to take our time and enjoy some drinks, and appetizers and dessert. It's our last night and we just want to enjoy ourselves!

A few of our party felt ill after eating the skillet, but I wouldn't let that stop you from trying WCC. Food affects everyone differently, and if something consistently made everyone sick at Disney it would be widely reported.

Relax, go and enjoy your dinner!! :goodvibes

This is a family favorite for us. We've been 3 times this year and will be going back during our November vacation. My dd (who will be 3 in Nov) and my 3 yo niece love it. It's such a fun place.

I'm not a big fan of southern homemade bbq meals, so I order the club. My parents, sister, and bil order the all-you-can-etc and they like it.

We only stay at FW, so I can answer your question. You're not going to have enough time. The boat ride alone is 15- 20 minutes and that's if you're able to make it one the first boat. We've had to wait for a second boat before. I'm not sure of the time they open for dinner, but try to get the earlist.

During on our arrival date, we make a ressie for the latest lunch possible. I think it's around 2:30 PM and we don't leave there until after 4 PM. If we get hungery we get ice cream or order place a to-go order from Trails End. Maybe that's a possiblity!

what show is at WC? I thought it is just a normal TS meal. I was thinking about canceling our ADR b/c the menu doesn't look all that interesting, but maybe I should keep it. What is special about this place?

We had a 7:00pm ADR and did not get seated until 8:15pm. We were really upset, but the food was worth the wait. We ended up leaving around 9:30pm.

We love WCC. we ate there our first night last trip and everyone agreed that we needed to make that a tradition, so we have it booked for our first ngiht again this trip. As for the "sho", it isn't like a HDDR show, but it can be very entertaining and that is all I am going to say to not ruin it for you. We all had the skillet and enjoyed it very much and had a ton of fun there. I highly recommend it!
