When at WDW last summer (July 2007) my DH and I ate at WCC. They had just changed the menu and the food was not as we remembered it from free dining trip in Sept 2006. I am now planning our December family trip and was thinking about whether or not to make an ADR. Has anyone recently eaten there? How was it?

Thanks!

We ate there back in February and I don't recall the menu being any different than the one we saw in a prior visit in 2005. Are you sure it has changed? I'm absolutely certain the offerings in the skillet we had this year were identical to the ones we got back in 2005. And I don't recall seeing anything else on the menu (at least in terms of entrees) that struck me as "new."

The chips and dip were fantastic- I'd go for a drink and chips every day if we stayed tehre!

I ordered the trout. Sadly, they were out and they substituted salmon without asking me if it was okay. The salmon was just okay- to give you an idea, I'd had salmon the night before at the Movies foodcourt and the Movies salmon was far and away better than what they had at WCC.

Oddly, our server said he'd "make it up to" me...but there was no price adjustment on my bill and nothing extra (desserts, etc.) was offered.

My younger son had the cheeseburger and said it was delicious.

Both boys had milkshakes, which they enjoyed.

We would do this restaurant again, but for the experience, not for the food.

We're not crazy over the food, I mean it's good but not something to write hoem about. We go for the atmosphere!

The food is average, at best, and you need to make sure that you are seated in the main dining room to take advantage of the atmosphere, since that is the only reason to go. My brother is NOT a picky eater but he, along with my mom and I, did not enjoy our food. Left most of it on the plate and helped my dad eat his skillet! The cinnamon banana tortilla dessert thing was good though!

We had a bad experience, so if we were to ever go back I'd make sure to be seated in the main dining room!

How is breakfast? their menu looks pretty good. Has anyone tried it?
