Whispering Canyon @ WL was fun!

This was the one meal we had not pre-planned. On Sat at lunch we decided to call & got a PS for 8:00. We arrived early to see Christmas decor & were seated early. The meal was so much fun! My mom (56) thought it was the highlight of her trip. We had the best waiter!

Be sure to ask for catsup. And have your waiter take a "group photo" for you!

I am thinking about planning a dinner at WC on our upcoming trip. I have two boys (6 and 8) and I think they would love it (the 'grown ups' too : )

Thanks for your post.....I can't wait to eat here with teen dd's....by the way....my oldest dd (the eternal practical jokster) requests catsup at EVERY restaurant we go to and she is unaware of the "catsup policy" at the WC

My boys just turned 5 & 7. They started out a little nervous because they didn't want to be "embarrassed" but warmed up to it quickly & had a great time.

My kids want to eat here. I'm sure they would have fun, but how is the food???

well, it wasn't Le Cellier, but we liked it. I usually don't order pork chops but I did at the waiters recommendation & it was very good (large portions & it had a maple glaze over it). My mom asked about the meatloaf & he told her "it's average"; when she looked puzzled he said "what do you expect, it's meatloaf!" So she ordered pasta that she didn't like but only because it had vegetables in it she doesn't like. My husband liked the ribs. Kids got macaroni & cheese that looked great but they were too busy playing to eat. The cornbread & biscuits were exceptionally good.
