My current countdown is 14 days! Heading to BWV for 7 nights and then flying to Vancouver for our first Alaskan cruise. Because who doesn't want some humidity before going to Alaska.....
::wondering if it’s possible to be located somewhere that WDW is “on the way” to Vancouver::

Brazil? Madagascar? Dubai? 🤣

You'll appreciate it more that way. We did an Alaskan cruise in early/mid July. As expected, summer in central Texas is pretty darn hot. But once we got to Alaska, the cool air was so refreshing and invigorating, it really helped my pace on the jogging track.

It’s been 10 plus years since I’ve bought resale so I have a question. My contract passed ROFR yesterday. I havent heard anything from the title company at all yet (https://www.dvcclosings.com/). I know it’s just been a day but I feel like I should’ve gotten an email or something acknowledging they’re working on my contract. Is this normal?
I would anticipate you’ll get everything in a day or two. The sped up ROFR approval timeline means that there is less turnaround time for the title companies to get paperwork completed.

It’s just too hot in June to not have laundry in my room, plus I’ll probably buy groceries so I can eat ‘not theme park food’.
Too bad the menu at California Grill is pre fixe because we loved eating there when they had the previous menu. Maybe we’ll try the totw lounge.
When did it go to ROFR? Wondering what the timeline is trending right now.

We were 3560. Had an incredible view of the service road and laundry pavilion lol. But the room itself wasn't fully cleaned (hair in the corners of the bathroom floor, trash left from previous guests), and the soap dispenser in the shower was falling off the wall, so we had to hold it still every time we needed shampoo/conditioner.
WOW this is really unfortunate! That hard goods refurbishment isn't even three years old!

Y'all are giving me WDW FOMO! But we're doing DCL to Alaska in May, DL in June to see the 70th entertainment one more time (🎶When Can We Do This Again🎵), and the DVC Member Cruise to Northern Europe in September... And we did WDW twice last year (July and December).

So I really shouldn't borrow points... I told DH no WDW until late 2027... 😬 Must stick to the plan... 😅
Where there's a will there's a way.....

I've been in borrow mode forever. It beats buying new points!

Aww, that sounds like what we used to call the dumpster view rooms at BRV. Of course it was VWL back then.

Did you call maintenance at all or just deal with it?

Just stayed in a non-DVC studio at AKL in the fall and everything was clean and in working order. That was only one room, so could have just been lucky.

If not, wonder if the DVC side of things is not held to the same standards since they already have our money? Just a thought.

just considering how housekeeping cleans cash rooms daily and DVC rooms 2 times a week (generously), I'm sure it does lead to the DVC rooms taking it a little harder...

One more stupid question re: Moonlight Magic, because the link doesn't say and I can't remember: what time of day does the registration open?

Is it 8am EDT?

ETA: NVM. Found it. It's 11am.
