Whispering Canyon reservations

We are planning on eating at the wcc on April 8th for dinner. We're meeting some friends there who live in the Orlando area. Should be call ahead and make reservations? We will be a group of 9 with 1 person being a little over a year old. If so, how early should we call? Also, where is the best spot to sit?

I would definitely make PS (priority seating) reservations especially for a fairly large party. You're probably best calling to make them as soon as possible. Keep in mind it is also peak season during most of April.

I don't think there is any particular "best" place to sit there. Most of the seating is fine and with a large party you may not have as much of a choice. We were a party of 11 a few weeks ago there and we sat on the edge by the lobby which was just fine. We had a nice meal, a crazy and fun server and a great time. ENJOY. BTW, my db's business partner and his family drove up from Venice that day to meet us for dinner there so pretty similar circumstances.

MOST DEFINITELY!!! We had PS for a party of 7 and it took them 1 1/2 hours to seat us... pretty ridiculous! Try to get the earliest time you can, so you too won't have to wait like we did. Our DD was asleep by the time the food came!

Yes, I did forget to note that is what we did. We were there on a busy weekend (President's Day). Actually we were only able to get a 5:10 PS because that's all they had. However the 4 we were waiting for didn't arrive til 5:30 and they did hold the table for us. But, as eeyore0062 mentioned that is a very good thing to keep in mind, since dinner starts at 5 you have a better chance of waiting less time if you do an earlier PS.

Thank you all for your advise. I emailed my friend and asked her to call and get reservations for us. If I don't hear back from her in the next day or so I'll call her to make sure she was able to.
