Whispering Canyon Questions

Okay, I sort of made a mistake with our 5:15 dinner reservation, stupidly thinking we'd still have time to see spectromagic at 7:00. That really doesn't give us enough time. So instead, I recently made a lunch reservation at 1:20. We're going to be in MK, and I figure this will be our afternoon break, and this way, we won't have to stress about rushing through dinner to get to Spectromagic.

Sounds good, right? But now I'm second guessing that we will be missing out by not doing dinner at WCC because isn't that when it is so fun with the horse racing and ketchup and all that? I feel like I don't want to miss that. I'm worried that lunch won't be fun. But I don't want to miss the parade either.

So, my questions are:

1) What time does dinner start at WC? Should I keep trying for a 4:00 or 4:30 so we have more time? Would that still be considered dinner?

2) Should I just try to take my chances and see if we can get in earlier when we get there hoping that there will be a no-show?

3) Or, should I just keep the lunch reservation and not worry about it?

Thanks!

Keep your lunch ressie and don't worry about it. They do all the crazy antics at lunch as well.

This is good to know, thank you! It seems like whenever anyone is talking about how fun WCC is, they seem to be referring to dinner, but it's good to hear lunch should be fun too.

What about the skillet? Does anyone know if there is a difference between L&D on the skillet - I know it is more expensive at dinner.

Thanks in advance! I'm still trying to figure out if I should move WCC to a non-spectro night, but it seems that is nearly impossible right now since our trip is something like 37 days away....

I just had lunch at Whispering Canyon 2 weeks ago and all of us at the table ordered the all you can eat skillet. If I remember correctly, the lunch price was $17.99. We used our Tables in Wonderland card.

On the skillet was ribs, chicken, sausage, corn on the cob. There were side dishes of mashed potatoes, cold slaw and cornbread. Everything was very good. :thumbsup2 Our server was a lot of fun and crazy things happened all around the dining room. Enjoy.

Very cool, Robert, THANK YOU. :thumbsup2 I keep finding these things to stress over now that the 30 day countdown is approaching....it's crazy! Thanks for the reassurance. Sounds like yummy food and a good time to me!

Thanks again!
