We are dining with another family at WC. I was told because we are a group of 8, gratuitity will be automatically added which is not a problem but we will want separate checks.

Any problem getting separate checks at this restaurant?

We have learned that at ANY WDW resturant, to tell them as soon they start taking your drink orders, that you need seperate checks. It should not be a problem.

Just tell them and before you start and it should not be a problem.

Definitely not a problem. We went with another family last April and ate dinner together every night of the trip. We were a party of 10. We explained immediately when the CM arrived we wanted separate checks because we were charging the meal to our rooms. Not a problem!
