i have adr's at wispering canyon cafe and i am doubting my choice....
would boma be a better choice for good food and easier to get to from pop?
thanks

Are you worried about all the hype at Whispering Canyon Cafe with all the stuff they do there? We ate there twice this past November, once for dinner and once for breakfast. You will have plenty of food to eat if you order from the skillets which is what I recommend. We were looking forward to have entertaining wait staff wait on us. We were pretty bummed, because both times we ate there our waitress was pretty low key. They only have a couple of them that do alot.

If you never been to WL it is a beautiful resort. We stayed there in November and it is worth the trip to go see it. Hope this helps!

We ate at both. I felt that the food and the atmosphere were both better at Boma. AKL is beautiful, and the kids love looking at the animals on the Savanah after dinner.

I really enjoyed WC it would be my first pick. We ate at boma on our last visit . It was interesting and at some time shouldn't be missed but I would pick WC for good down home cooking.

another vote for BOMA.
Hubby was bummed that we didn't get to go there last week - just couldn't find a place to work it in with all the new places to try
It'll be back on our line-up next time, we really missed it.
We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and didn't go to WCC - been there done that and didn't miss it at all. (Don't get me wrong food is okay just nothing to say "WOW".)

Boma! We enjoyed WCC a lot, but the food at Boma was much better, in our opinion. I do want to eat at WCC again, but not so much for the food (dh's style but not so much mine) as the fun. Boma was just something different for us. We made ADRs for Jiko for our upcoming trip and I am actually a bit disappointed b/c I loved Boma so much!

Boma!! But WCC isn't my style...don't like all that hoopla....although I love Hoop De Doo. It's the out of control, focused on the diners, hoopla that I don't like.

None of us will touch Boma again. We tried it twice and hated it twice. Ive just asked my two teenage kids about ten minutes ago (going in August and need to get the ADRs sorted) which restaurant is an absolute must and which is an absolute no no. The answer from both was WC is a must and Boma is a no no. We all love interestsing food but found Boma totally uninspiring. Mind you we arent talking gourmet at WC but it is great fun. :)
