whispering canyon or 1900 park fare?

Trying to decide which ts restaurant. Any opinions?

I would choose Whispering Canyon. We went to both on our trip in September, and we were not thrilled with 1900. The tables are so close together. It felt as though we were having dinner with the families on either side of us. We also felt like a nuisance. It seemed as though the servers just wanted to get everyone out so the next batch could come in. Whispering Canyon was a lot of fun. The waiters are hilarious. If you are bringing kids, they will have so much fun! The food was great, too. I preferred it to the buffet at 1900-where everyone was pushing, trying to get to the food.

I prefer 1900 park fare over wcc. The atmosphere at WCC is great, but I think the food is better at 1900.

Wisp Canyon is a must if you have kids. We go every trip. The kids have so much fun. As far as food goes, it's all pretty much the same to me. I pay for the theme as enjoyment for my kids.

I would only reccomend WCC if you were going to get the all you can eat skillet meal (which is really good). I really didn't think the other options were that great. 1900 Park fare is good with kids and the food is very good. I found it to be really noisy and crowded. I am a small person and I had a hard time getting out of my seat without hitting the table next to us. We made friends with the people next to us quickly. So in my opinion,WCC is good for familys were 1900 is more for kids. We had a great time at both.

To me it all comes down to preferred style - 1900PF - character breakfast and buffet style - WCC - server style - lots of ketchup fun and a great open atmosphere

We hit both on our last visit and liked both - I would have a slight preference for WCC as noted by other posters, 1900PF is crowded

Definitely Whispering Canyon Cafe. We went last year for the first time and had a blast. We already have our reservation for January. We had a terrible experience at 1900 a few years ago. First, even though we had priority seating reservations, we waited 1 1/2 hours for a table. The characters kept walking by us. I spoke with a cast member twice about it. And the food was eh. We would never go back there again.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is a must do. Good times, and lots of laughs. Can't wait to go back, this time with my DS20 and his girlfriend (her first time to the world).
