Whispering Canyon Lunch

We are considering dropping our Hoop De Doo reservations and using one TS meal for whispering canyon and something else! We could not get an evening reser. at WC but they have plenty of lunch ones available. Would you consider eating lunch at WC just as good as dinner. Also we are considering of adding another character meal to replace the hoop de doo, what would be a good replacement? Do any of the restaurants have some entertainment or anything that would be just as fun as Hoop De Doo? We are going to the following TS places and have reservations for them already.

While I've heard some people say their WCC experience at lunch was not as good as dinner, we had a great time having lunch there last year (note: we have not had dinner there, so I can't compare). Our waitress was great, and the waiter next to us was, also, as both of them would work off each other to keep us in stitches. The kids did the pony races, and they pulled me up in front of everybody to sing Happy Birthday.

We had so much fun, that we are going back for lunch on our trip this year, as well.
