My nephew wants to eat here for the antics. I know they do the antics at dinner, do they do any at lunch? I'd rather have lunch there because the lunch menu appeals more to me than the dinner one. But if they do more antics at dinner, I'll book dinner since that's why he wants to eat here.

I've always heard dinner is more boisterous. To be honest, I've only done dinners. I would suggest making sure you mention when you check in (and then again to your server) that your nephew is excited about the antics. Some servers are more animated than others.

Same as Elaine, I have only eaten dinner at Whispering Canyon. One of my favorite places to eat and I enjoy the antics. As suggested, it would not hurt to prime the pump with the servers/staff to ensure you get the experience you are seeking.

"Antic" degrees:
1) Breakfast is the most subdued, so people in the rooms can sleep later.
2) Lunch is the most exciting, as there are fewer people in the hotel rooms.
3) Dinner is in the middle for excitement, as people are too tired to typically get "really into it".

NOTE:
The degree of excitement is more dependent upon the guests than the CM's - at any meal.
However, CM's are told to keep things a little more low-key for breakfast so folks in atrium rooms don't get awaken by noise that rises from the restaurant.

I've been there for lunch and dinner, and there were antics at both. I much prefer the lunch menu over the dinner menu.

I've been to late breakfasts and lunch and both had antics. Our server could tell we were totally into the antics so he really played it up!

We have never had lunch here only dinner but dinner is one of our must do's. The last time we were there they had coasters that you turned to fun or basically no fun. And it is a very good idea to tell the front desk when you check in that you would like one of the more boisterous waitresses.
