Whispering Canyon for Vegetarian?

Hi all! I know that there's one dish available for vegetarians that is heavy with beans. My friend is going there next month, and really doesn't like beans. Is there a veggie pasta dish available too?

The above post was in jest, but to be honest, it's not far off the mark when it comes to WCC. For meat-eaters, it's great. But if you're a vegetarian, you might not enjoy it much. I'm a meat-eater so I love it, but it's hard for me to imagine eating there and not being able to enjoy a slab of ribs or something like that.

haha I totally understand what you're saying. I ate there last summer and LOVED the ribs!

However, a friend is going next month with her family and she's vegetarian. I know they'd all love the fun environment so I thought they'd still enjoy it. The vegetarian alternative seems to be all right from what I've read. I told my friend to get her husband to ask for ketchup!

Well, since it's a table service restaurant, I'm sure they'd be able to whip something up specially for your friend if she doesn't want the bean stew on the menu. I would call the restaurant ahead of time and ask. Sometimes they can make something on the fly, but giving them a head's up doesn't hurt either. They might be able to make the chicken pasta dish without the bird, for example.

I can't stand olives, so I can kinda feel your friend's pain. When there's only one thing on the menu for vegetarians and it's covered with olives, it's such a bummer! But I'm sure WCC will help you guys out!
