Whispering Canyon Cafe

Ok people, give me the "skinny" on this restaurant please. For the past year we've been booked at CBR and never gave this place much thought, but because of a GREAT e-mail rate we got this morning, we're now booked at WL, and are really interested in this restaurant.

Is it an absolute necessity to have PS for this place? (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner?)

Also, how's the food? Should we definitely do the dinner, or is their lunch just as good? How about breakfast? Is it worth it?

Basically I need all the info you can give me, as I know very little about it.

TIA for any help! I know I can count on all you DIS'ers to give me honest opinions!

This is our families all time favorite restaurant....the food is good....but our waiter Bobby the Kid MAKES this restaurant experience for us we ask for hime each visit......Don't plan on a quiet dinner when dining here....It should be LOUD and OBNOXIOUS .....that is the best....

If you enjoy the hyjinx...you will definately have a great time...

This is also our favorite restaurant, tied with Ohana. We have to always go there and we always go to dinner. The more raucous, the better!

It's fun, it's loud, and the food is good to boot!

This was my 11 year old son's favorite meal of the trip. He's still talking about it 6 month later.

We went for dinner. The food was good, not great, but the prices seemed in line for the amount you got, plus the entertainment. I agree with the other poster who said it's loud and obnoxious, but still lots of fun

We had no problem getting in at 6PM without PS. We were sat right away with no wait. That was in January though, other times of year may of course be different.

Whispering Canyon is fun, filling, and loud!!!! The atmosphere is just great for kids, from the food to the "hootin and hollerin"!

As for a PS, it's not overly necessary. I've stayed at WL many times and each time I've been able to walk up and get a table within 30 minutes. Believe me, you can sit in that lobby for 30 mins and just chill.

My family enjoys eating at Whispering Canyon Cafe as well. We never made a PS and usually got in within 20 minutes. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere not for the bashful. Be sure to ask for ketchup and a large water.
