Right now I have lunch booked at WCC. I'm thinking of switching it to breakfast. Thoughts on either? I've never eaten here before.

We have done breakfast & dinner & really enjoyed breakfast so much more. Not quite so hectic & I really enjoyed the food so much more. We had a 9am ressi @ it wasn't to busy. Only odd part was that when ketchup was asked for instead of taking the bottle to the table a kid literally threw the bottle at the people. That was quite a surprise!

As you may have guessed from Eeyore's post, the place is known for it's antics--so be fully prepared to see servers banging trays on the floor and yelling "ye hah" all meal, servers blowing paper straw covers at patrons, the kids stick horse ride around the restaurant (with the requisite screaming and yelling), --and so on.

We love Whispering Canyon and have done both breakfast and lunch. If I had to pick I'd go with lunch, only because the breakfast options are a little uninspired. At lunch you can have some of their amazing bbq smoked in the smokehouse right outside the hotel. They also had some of the best baked beans I've ever eaten.

If you are doing breakfast I would do it during your PR part of your trip, not the BC part. We have dined here when we stayed at the WL. Breakfast is the quiet dining time. Lunch they do a little more and dinner is where they are know do more of the gags. Personally, dining here was a hit or miss as the dining experience is partially defined by your server and the remainder by the food. Bottomless milkshake was absent for us as the server was too busy gossiping-flirting with co-workers then paying attention to guest. The BBQ is ...well OK at best. We found a lot of the food to be on the salty side. We personally would do breakfast at Ohana, Kona, 1900 or GF Café before WCC.

We go for dinner everytime we go to WDW here. Always great food and you never leave hungry. I would recommend dinner here, but have not eaten breakfast or lunch here.

Make sure you ask for ketchup......(atleast for dinner)

I prefer lunch or dinner due to the milkshakes and skillets. I also don't really care for a heavy breakfast. My 5 and 7 yo girls love this place!

We prefer breakfast there. The pulled pork benedict and banana bread french toast are yummy!

What kind of food do you like better? We prefer breakfast type food over lunch. Breakfast was great and the mango smoothie was awesome! Enjoy your meal whenever you go!

We have only eaten breakfast there but absolutely loved it!! The food is sooo good! And do ask for ketchup!!
It was a great experience and we are going again this summer
