Whispering Canyon Cafe??????

I can feel your pain regarding the picky eater. My 16 and 10 yr are both picky eaters. They were upset that WCC only had grilled chicken strips and not the breaded kind. I asked if there was any way to get the breaded kind and they said no that they did not offer them. That was our only complaint about WCC. If it hadn't been for not having what they will eat they would have loved WCC. The atmosphere was great and the wait staff kind and funny.

I have one picky eater too... Is there anything else on the kids menu you felt was friendly for the picky eater?

You know what I wish they'd open in DTD...a Crayola Cafe. Has anyone else ever been to one (is it a chain...I'm not even sure)? The one at Crown Center in KCMO has things like make-your-own-peanutbutter. It's a very picky-eater friendly restaurant. And, of course, right next door is a Crayola Store where you can pay twice as much for markers and crayons as you would at WalMarts :rotfl: .

We (six adults ages 36-67) had dinner there for the first time Sunday night and had a blast. Everyone loved their food (ribs, prime rib, meatloaf and the southwestern pasta) and the margaritas were excellent (I am fussy about my favorite drink). Our server was wonderful and the "antics" were good-natured and lots of fun.

We would all go back.

I agree with Pakey.
If you decided to go, just practice screaming "Yi Hah" a little ahead of time so you'll fit right in when you arrive.

And we loved it in September of 07 during free dining.

I think every single restaurant at WDW is hit or miss- read the threads. There will always always always be negative and good things said- regardless of whether it's the 'best' at WDW or not... Everyone goes for different things... We enjoyed our food, we enjoyed our waiter enough to double-tip him (ie we tipped him a nice big tip on top of whatever tip the dining plan gave back then) and we had fun. Would a very shy introverted group of people have fun there? No- they'd tell you it was loud and crazy and frightening, probably!
