whispering canyon cafe

we have dinner reservations at whispering canyon cafe...during the day we will be doing a water park go back to pop to do hair and stuff and be at dinner for 8:00pm...is it going to be hard to get there? should i pick a restaurant closer to pop? how do i get there?

We stay at WL often. Your best bet is to catch the bus to MK then the boat to WL. The boat ramp will be directly in front of MK entrance. It takes no more than 10 mins to get there by boat. Do this in reverse to go back to POP, but make sure MK will still be open as transportation will stop 1 hr after park closes.

You will be directed by WDW transportation to take bus to DTD then transfer to WL bus from there. This route can take a very long time.

Allow at least an hour for travel time and you should have no problems. If you get to WL early, check out the scenery. It is a beautiful resort. Have fun at WCC. Its a hoot!

Were doing the same thing except were staying at POR. We are going to BB from 10 - 3 and will leave there exactly at 3. Get the next bus and head to POR. Change and shower and then head to the bus for MK. When there take the boat across and get to WL for 7:20 ADR. We've given ourselves 4 hours to do this. Other people have suggested taking the AK bus from our resort and then take the Wilderness Lodge bus from there. Good luck!!!

When we stayed at POP in September we did the same as another poster has suggested - we caught the bus to MK & then hopped on the boat to WL. It started the evening off right. Loved WCC. Then we went outside & hopped the bus to DTD for an evening of shopping before calling it a night & heading back to POP. Do allow at least an hour or a little more to get from POP to MK to WL, though. It took a little over an hour for us that September.
