Whispering Canyon Cafe

Hmm, you made me think about this, grumpy! I definitely want antics...esp. for ds (who will want ketsup, & will HAVE to ask himself!). My ADR is for 6:20pm...should I change it to a bit later?

GLAZED PORK CHOPS!!! :lovestruc It is on the a la carte menu. Best thing there!!! :goodvibes

We arrived around five and wore seated by 5:15 we completed our meal by 6:30. The day we wore there by the time we wore leaving the restaurant seemed to be winding down, but the place was full of ketchup calls, napkin waving and "pony trots" during our meal.

we love whispering canyon cafe & go almost every trip. the food is very good, we like the skillet & meatloaf, the antics & theming. were even going there for our rehearsal dinner this march.

I LOVE WCC!! It is so much fun and the food is great!! I had the skillet and every part of it was delicious! Also, the chocoalte cake for dessert was YUMMY!! :)

Yes, you should be fine at your time. This is just my opinion. We stayed at WL and I noticed the earlier times were not as loud and rambunchus as later in the night. Personally, I like the loud and rambunchus. I think it's part of WCC atmosphere. But you don't want to make your ressies too late or you won't be hungery. You will be fine. Everything should be rockin' by then! Have a great time and ask for a bottle of ketchup for me!!!!

This place is the best. Be sure to ask for Ketchup and see what happens. Our kids had so much fun there. The more you participate the more fun you will have. On our last trip we encourage one of our sons to make a paper airplane. He asked if he could fly it in the restuarant. So I told him to ask the waiter. Before you knew it we had half a dozen kids and two waiters going up to the top floor of the Wilderness Lodge flying paper airplanes down into the lobby. We will definitly go back. Also our youngest fell aslep so the waiter got two chairs and pillows and made a bed for him so he could sleep while we ate. They are great. The food was also good.

I had the breakfast skillet and it was well worth it. Food was very good. If you're not to into the raucous atmosphere then breakfast at WCC is the time for you. Dinner is totally out of control.

I highly recommend the breakfast skillet.

We will proably make our ADR for 5:30, is this a good time, or should we go earlier/later?

Does anyone happen to have a photo of the waffles that come in the Breakfast Skillet? I was trying to describe them to someone (I call them pinecones but I know that's not really right) and wanted a picture to show her. I looked on the Photo sticky thread and didn't find one.

thanks.
