Whispering Canyon Cafe Question

Does anyone know if the Whispering Canyon Cafe closes between lunch and dinner? We want to have a late lunch (say 3pm - 4pm ish) or very early dinner. Would they be serving at this time?

We had a late lunch there in 2003. I think our PS was 2.20pm. However, we ate dinner there at Xmas and the restaurant was closed before our PS (5.10pm). They opened the "doors" at 5pm, so it must close at some point in the afternoon....my guess is the last lunch PS would be around 2.30pm. Certainly no one else was seated after us in 2003. Im sure WDW Dine could tell you for sure.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is open during the following times:

Meals: Breakfast served from 7:30a.m. til 11:00a.m. Lunch served daily from 12:00 noon til 3:00p.m. full bar is available, and Dinner served nightly from 5:00p.m. til 10:00p.m. Full bar is available.

Hi there,

We own DVC at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge and NO the restuarant does no close in the afternoon. The place is great and with the antics it does get noisy, TOP TIP: You must ask for the Ketchup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Very interesting. The answer I gave was exactly the one I received from the restaurant when I phoned them on Monday. BUT if it was open when you were there then so be it!!

I've not actually been there yet, we are DVC members who will be in a 1BR villa for 10 nights in August.
