Whispering Canyon Cafe introduces "10 Gallon Hat" Dessert

Walt Disney World News Today is reporting that Whispering Canyon Cafe has just added the "10 Gallon Hat Dessert" to its menu. At $27, the dessert rivals the kitchen sink dessert at Beaches and Cream.

any time i attempt these things we ask for all the toppings on the side and for good reason, who likes a soupy mess. this looks like a belly ache waiting to happen

That looks gross and has nothing to do with Texas. It looks like they took the leftover desserts from other days and threw them into the hat. I think a metal hat with a cobbler in it with vanilla ice cream on top would have screamed "Texas" a lot more than this monstrosity.

Doesn't appear it can be applied to DDP, but unknown for the future.

Cute idea! Personally, we've ordered the Kitchen Sink with our six sons at B&C and wouldn't do it again because of the soupy mess...but was fun to do once! I think many diners will find this to be a fun one time experience, as well!
