some people are saying that the antics have gone down,
is this true? that's the sole reason i booked the ADR

is there anyway to ensure a good waiter?

i agree ask for in the main dining room and usually if u go at a "busy" time you shouldnt have a problem with good antics and worse comes to worse it will be a good meal if anything. We usually go for breakfast and they arent as lively as in the afternoon/dinner but we still have a good time.

We just got back from our trip to WDW and WCC was one of our ADR's. We absolutely had a blast. My sons age 23 and 19 took their girlfriends with us on this trip. My youngest son's girlfriend had just graduated from high school and when I made my ADR it was noted on our reservation.

Neither girls knew what to expect. The 18 year old was called up front to ride a stick horse in the parade with all the smaller children. Our waitress made a big deal about her graduating. Her face was every shade of red, but she was such a good sport about the whole thing. I could not eat I was laughing so much.::rotfl:

The night we were there, we saw plenty of antics.

We went in February for dinner and had a great time. Lots of yelling, stick ponies, twirling napkins, throwing straws, ketchup bottles...you name it!

We just ate there last week and had a blast! We were staying at the WL so it was very convenient to just walk downstairs. We had "Sassy Molassy" and my kids loved it! She threw straws and napkins at us and was definitely sassy..but all in good fun. My kids thought it was a hoot. I finished my water glass too quickly so she came out with the biggest jar I've ever seen filled with water and two straws that were at least a foot long. I thought my daugther would fall off her chair laughing. She also brought the kids Disney coloring pages to color and then hung them all up on the wall of the restaurant with Mickey Mouse stickers as the thumbtacks. People asked for ketchup and the waiters made us sing "You are my sunshine". There was a horse race for the kids. It was a lot of fun and the food was great. We did not do the skillets. I had the roasted chicken w/mashed potatoes that was fabulous. Cornbread was delicious. Kids loved their meals, too. Bottomless milkshakes can't be beat!

The antics and the food were just fine last week. Delicious ribs and pulled pork. Everything on the breakfast skillet was really good. We ate lunch and breakfast there during our stay and the waiters/waitresses were lots of fun.

We love Wc , if you want a fun server ask for Lazy Susan..:thumbsup2 (and request main dining room)

We had Lazy Susan and she was great! My DH drank his two cokes very fast and was given one of the huge jars - hilarious! He barely drank half of it (and he drinks ALOT.) The food was good too.
