Has anyone done this for breakfast? I am considering doing this with my boyfriend in about a month, just due to a lower cost than character buffets...Any thoughts or suggestions (has to not be in the parks)?

We eat breakfast at Whispering Canyon whenever we stay at the Wilderness Lodge. Breakfast is great try the skillet which has eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, waffles etc. The antics of the cast members are always fun.

Enjoy!

If you like comfort food for breakfast than WCC is a good choice. :) We :lovestruc WCC for breakfast!! My DH is a huge biscuits and gravy fan, along with scrambled eggs, sausage, etc., so he gets the skillet. I'm not a huge breakfast fan but I really really really like the Western Omelette. Ugh, now I'm hungry...

love WCC for breakfast. If you like big breakfasts (which we do) this is the place to be.

Just make sure to ask for ketchup for your potatoes ;):rotfl2:

It's one of our favorites! We love the skillet.

It's also much more toned down than at lunch or dinner, but still fun!

We think it is a great choice. My family loves the skillet! This is our traditional last day breakfast regardless of where we stay : )

You also might want to check out Boma's brekkie buffet. We love that, and the AKL is beautiful to look around (although so is WL!)

Just be prepared for all the "antics".
If you want a quiet, peaceful breakfast this is a place to avoid at any cost.

I think this does a dis service to the restaurant it is not manic all the time, I have eaten breakfast multiple times there and never once would I think man its too loud here for me. Yeah when they have the horse race or someone asks for ketchup it can get loud but it also depends if the people there are willing to take part in the fun.

I agree we went for breakfast a few weeks ago and it was pretty quiet. I got the skillet and my wife got the BBQ Eggs Benedict. I think it was her favorite meal of the trip. If you are up for it you can get the all you can drink milkshakes at breakfast as well (my kids loved this).

The breakfast if very filling and the food was good. It was better than say Chef Mickey's or some of the other run of the mill buffets. It offers you the standard breakfast options of biscuits and gravy, bacon/sausage, waffles, eggs, and maybe potatoes? I can't remember now. Anyway...it's a good meal.

The "antics" aren't anything major. If you don't like a little fun, then you should probably stay away as they like to have some fun.

So, you have a choice of skillet type breakfast or order off menu like a western omellete?

We're headed there our last day too!:goodvibes
