Whirlpool tubs in room

Can anyone tell me which of the resorts offer a whirlpool tub in room. I know the OKW one bedroom does, but others...?

All 1BR and larger villas at all DVC resorts will have the jacuzzi in the master bath, just adjacent to the BR itself.

Enjoy!

And if you want to have a deliciously wonderful experience, go to "Basin" over at the Village to get a bath bomb in the large size for $3.95 to throw in the whirlpool tub. Then just jump in and push the button--I nearly died from delight!!:teeth: I had a bomb in lilac and one in rose petals, and you can smell it thruout the one bedroom. It was the highlight of my trip:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Bath bomb! Yeah! I'm doin' that next time! I never got to use the tub this trip (we gave the master br to my parents and they never used it). My husband said to me, "From now on, we get the master br. I don't care who's with us!"

LOL.
We have one of those wonderful Vita tubs at home. When we remodeled that was my one "I must have this". We upscaled it a little, but, I have to tell you, it is fantastic to have.

Thanks!
Next question would be, How difficult is it to switch from a one bedroom to a studio in the same visit, and would you recommend staying in the one bedroom with the whirlpool the first two days of your stay or at the last two days?

If it is just adults, easy enough to switch - just try and pack your clothes etc. accordingly - one caveat - if you did plan to do laundry, there are no facilities in a studio (full washer and dryer in a one bedroom and up)

I say do the studio first, then you will have a whirlpool tub to work out the kinks and knots from park touring. Also this way you finish in the better room as well...

Thanks Jaysue,
I am trying to plan a honeymoon for my DS and his fiancee...I have always stayed in OKW and just love it. We are going in August and are staying in the All Star Music Resort, never been there before....so I can't say how it will be. Thanks for the advice...they were thinking of the whirlpool at the beginning and I thought it better for the end. Hoping to get some feedback to show them...

I am with you on this one. It is very difficult to go from a one bedroom to a studio, but REALLY nice to go from a studio to a one bedroom.

Don't forget to take your DVC member card to BASIN. Acording to the "Portable Perks" card I got 3 weeks ago, DVC members get a 10% discount there!

I bought a few of those bath bombs and some are better than others. I do LOVE those shampoo bars. They are awesome for traveling and so much better than that shampoo that Disney puts in our villas!!

I agree, Pinnie! Those shampoo bars are awesome! I also got a soap bar with a loufa in it, which is great! After using the bath bombs, I came home and got an estimate on putting in a whirlpool tub--it was just so wonderful and sensual (at 50 I take what I can get--sigh). Did the poster staying at All Stars consider renting points? I just can't see All Stars when you could stay in a DVC unit--of course, as mentioned, I am SO partial to that durn whirlpool tub:p

Thanks everyone, I now have a few 'new' things to try for myself in August....can't wait to try them.

For a honeymoon, that OKW 1 BR whirlpool would be perfect. It's sized for two! Diana

Diana,
I have been to the OKW and stayed in the 2bedroom with ny Aunt and it was very nice. We have also stayed in the studio. That is why I am picking it for my kids in May....the only thing my future daughter in law has asked for is a whirlpool in the room. I think for a honeymoon it should happen if even for just a couple of days!!
We are going next month and for the first time staying at a different place. The All STar Music, there is no doubt I will miss the home feeling from OKW, but just going to WDW will more than make up for it.
I have to check with the kids to make sure that what I want and is good for what they want....I have to keep reminding myself, It is "their" honeymoon.

I would vote for the one bedroom on the last 2 days of the trip.
I would imagine the first 2 days that they will arrive, they will be excited about touring the parks.
By the end of the trip, they should be relaxing a bit and would have more time to enjoy the room/whirlpool.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
