Ah, that stinks Kath. I'm sorry. I've been babying along a bottle of Vicodin (liquid) for about three weeks now.... (cold went bad/got in the lungs/lots of coughing/pulled muscles from coughing so much, etc...) There are times when I wish I could take another dose, because the coughing it's supposed to stop.... DOESN'T. The bottle is almost gone and I'm still coughing half the night, so had to beg the dr. to refill the script. I'm beginning to think I'm going to cough like this for the rest of my life.

I feel for you... I do hope the "discomfort" leaves soon!

My mom recently had some tooth troubles...temp cap fell off so raw tooth was exposed. I've never seen her in so much pain so I can definitely empathize. The drugs her doc gave didn't work. The only combo that was of any relief was codiene combined with ibruprofen. Hope you feel better asap and that your dentist can recommend something to dull the pain.

I'm sorry it took me so long to post on this thread. I'm sorry you're in such pain. Jaw pain is one of the worst pains, imo. Could you call your doctor for more pain meds? Maybe there's something you could take that would also help you sleep at night? I hope you have a quick recovery and you're soon painfree! Take care!

Did you have one of those deep gum cleanings? DH has to start those treatments so he doesn't get periodontal disease. Don't tell me he's going to go through that (he's very sensative to pain).

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I was able to sleep last night because I could take two of the Vicodin with ibuprophen and that helped a lot.

Lynn, I had a bone graft to my jaw. The first two days are the worst.

I think I'm going to live, though
