Yep in-park quest items will never go on sale in-game. Sorry. :(

But the other magics are a possibility, but I don't think they'll
do it.

And if you're wondering, Invisibility was a prize from winning POTC (original
version) 10 times on level 3. It was also an in park quest item later in
the haunted mansion quest I think.

To make some people not happy again yes surely that is a good idea -_- If fireworks magic not single use has to be released again, I hope it wont be any other way than by winning at fireworks game & idem for invisibility magic but with pirates games

I would definitely like to see invisibility sold, it would let me get mine up to five stars without trading everything I own... Sure, there would probably be a lot of people quitting VMK just like when the flip hat was re-released, and panic in the streets, but I think I at least would be pretty satisfied. :thumbsup2

Many in park quest items were sold in stores at one point or another.

at least half the Mansion quest items are still for sale, such as Leota Crystal Ball and Table

Invisibility was a prize from winning 10 times on Pirates level 3

The VMK T-Shirt card gives a shirt that is for sale.

The Red Penny Press was for sale a couple of times.

The Jungle Cruise Hippo Rug is still for sale.

Never say never. They may bring back every single item from those quests simply because there are no longer and VMK quests or cards being given out.

I believe they were sold in stores before they became quests though. And
anyway Yavn's announcement about in-park quest items never being sold
in stores was after all that. But there are many surprises of VMK... :wizard:

But they may be sold in stores since there are no more in-park quests, just like you said. :)

You ppl are so funny. :rolleyes1

Seriously though, "Yavn" (Seth) is no longer in charge. I believe that with all items being virtual only and holding no real value, the powers-that-be at VMK can do "virtually" whatever they would like. ;)

I am not disappointed either way, but I would not bet you bank or even your lunch money that you know what VMK will or will not do. One thing is for sure, they make unpredictable decisions all of the time. ;)

No those quest items were for sale in some cases while they were still quest.

The truth is VMK has never said one way or the other.

I'm not saying it will happen, but none of you can say it won't either ;)

the red penny was a mistake tho, remember that people FREAKED :rotfl:

I know Yavn isn't in charge, in fact I never knew he was in charge
at all until recently LOL, but he rights the newsletter about what
the people in charge tell him that is happening. What else would he talk
about? :D

Oh, I've heard from many, many people that Yavn announced that no
in-park quest items would be sold in-game, guess it's just a big rumor.

One thing about vmk....never say never. About the time you do it will come back to bite you in the rear.

Here we go again!

This should be merged with the "Nothing is Rare" thread.

"Yavn" may indeed write the newsletter, but this is only a pseudo, just like "Dear Abby" is a pseudo. Abby was once Pauline Phillips, today it is Jeanne Phillips. "Yavn" was once Seth, today it might be John or Susie. ;) KWIM?

I agree with you young padawan, Yavn does have a boss....it might be Aengus for all we know. :rotfl2:

I see your point. :)

I disagree.

I've been playing VMK since 2006. Does that mean I can instantly buy 5 Levitation Magic to combine together? No... I'm still WORKING to get my FIRST.

I see no problem with VMK selling MAGIC pins in a MAGIC store at an incredibly high price, instead of the useless throwaway One time uses.

I wish they would do that again, i didnt even know about vmk until after they stopped doing that -sigh-.

Actually the VMK designers can release anything their little hearts desire -- they control it all. LOL
